Congratulations to the winner of the 2009 "Give Peace a Chance" Charity Lottery:
The Medical Practice of Kardalinos, Petry and Pohlmeier in Bremen, Germany.
IPPNW is grateful to everyone from all over the world who bought and sold tickets or helped to promote the event. The support we received is a good example of the international cooperation that IPPNW has practiced for nearly 30 years. To show our appreciation, we pulled three more names from the lot each of whom will receive a signed copy of "Prescription for Survival - A Doctor's Journey to End Nuclear Madness" by IPPNW Founding Co-President, Bernard Lown, MD.

The winning team (from left to right): Vassilios Kardalinos M.D., Arnold Petry M.D., T. Drescher, Lars Pohlmeier M.D.
Dr. Pohlmeier got his
partners to go for the winning ticket. Arnold and Vassilios decided
straight away to buy 15 tickets. "It is for a good cause" said
Vassilios. Except for Lars the physicians from Bremen are not members
of IPPNW. Here they supported it - and got rewarded.
Dr. Pohlmeier has pledged to donate his share of the prize back to IPPNW.
